Initial Mood Board
Storyboard Sketch & Motion Test
Early storyboard sketches divided the title sequence into three acts, helping plan the visual progression, pacing, and transitions. A 10–20 second motion test was then created to explore movement and establish the animation style before developing the full sequence.

Concept
Rendezvous is a hypothetical 1930s Chicago romantic thriller centered on Eli, a pianist involved in stolen art, and Rose, a photojournalist secretly investigating the same case. Their yearly meetings at a jazz club bring together themes of secrets, dangerous love, and trust, creating a mysterious and suspenseful story.
Objective
The goal of this project was to create an animated title sequence that introduces the film’s mood and story through typography and motion. The sequence uses pacing, transitions, and visual elements to capture the romance and mystery of 1930s Chicago while presenting key film credits in an engaging way.
